Extra costs and when a quote can change
In the cases below, your final quote can differ from the instant estimate. If the amount changes, we send you an updated quote before payment — you only ever pay the quote you approve.
Items that may cost extra
- Electronics with a built-in lithium battery (phones, laptops, tablets, cameras, etc.) — carrier rules decide whether and how they can ship, which may add cost
- Loose lithium batteries, including power banks — international shipping is restricted for most of these
- Liquids, cosmetics, perfume, fragile or bulky items — quoted separately if special packing or handling is needed
- Express shipping on request — quoted separately
When the quoted amount can change
- The actual or volumetric weight after packing falls in a different tier from the one you chose (we charge whichever is greater)
- Shipping restrictions (batteries, liquids, etc.) require a different shipping method or carrier
- You pay after the quote's validity date — it may be recalculated at the carrier rates and exchange rate of that time
- You pay by Korean card (KRW) — converted at the day's reference exchange rate at the time of payment

If the hotel can't locate it, you won't be charged anything, since this happens before payment. We'll email you the result.

Why is shipping shown separately?+
Carrier costs change with destination, weight and over time, so we keep them separate from our fixed service fee. Shipping estimates include carrier charges, payment processing and exchange-rate adjustments, and the final carrier charge is confirmed in your quote before payment.
Who covers customs duties?+
Customs duties and taxes at the destination are the recipient's responsibility. Duty-free thresholds and restricted items vary by country and we'll flag anything relevant before shipping.
