Jeju Olle Walking Festival 2026

11/5 – 11/7Based on official Korea Tourism Organization data

A 3-day autumn walking festival through Jeju's coastal trails combining nature, cultural performances, and local food in November

The Jeju Olle Walking Festival is a 3-day traveling festival held each November along Jeju's Olle trails. Rather than just walking, participants move through various stage performances, traditional games, and village programs at different locations.

What sets the festival apart is that each area offers different experiences. Sometimes concerts perform with waves as background, other times traditional Jeju performances take the open field as their stage. Along the walking route, you'll encounter Jeju food made from local agricultural and marine products, engaging all five senses in your experience of Jeju.

The 2026 festival runs from November 5-7 in Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si. Around 10,000 participants gather each year, and in recent years, the proportion of international visitors from China, Taiwan, Japan, the US, UK, and Canada has steadily increased.

Since you move slowly through the festival enjoying programs at your own pace, this suits people who want to appreciate nature and enjoy culture rather than those seeking vigorous hiking. November weather in Jeju is warmer than the national average, but because it's coastal, wind can be cool, so layered clothing is advisable.

Traveler tip: Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and check the village program schedule in advance to plan which performances and food stalls to visit
