Running April through October 2026 on Taejo-ro street in Jeonju Hanok Village, this traditional performance parade features Jeonju's signature folk arts: the Gijop-nori (flag dance) and pungmul (percussion performance). The most striking element is the Gijop-nori itself—performers twirl massive ornamental flags in elaborate choreography. Alongside the rhythmic percussion and traditional skill demonstrations scattered throughout the streets, you'll find comic short sketches (madang-nori) that carry local humor. Beyond watching, the parade offers participation: you can learn 'Mandure Sori,' a traditional work song that has been passed down orally in Jeonju for generations.
